In
order to encourage meritorious and deserving students to pursue courses of
studies and research in the University without much financial strain, the
University shall strive to provide for adequate number of scholarships,
fellowships, studentships and free-ships, for financial help, and also provide
for award of medals and prizes. The
scholarships shall be instituted in every subject to be awarded to the students
of the University/Affiliated Colleges (wherever applicable) subject to
availability of funds. Rules for award of the same will be laid down in the
Regulations.
There
shall be fee concession in the form of half and full free-ships of tuition fee
in each School and Teaching Department as per norms of the UGC.
