National Health Policy has been modified after 15 years. The last policy was made in 2002. Now the Union Cabinet has cleared the latest NHP 2017 to address the current and emerging challenges rising from changing socio-economic and epidemiological environments. Ensuring better health of all the citizens is the prime agenda of the government. National Health Policy 2017 setting a goal of social inclusion in the field of health sector, foresees a healthy India, thereby boosting overall development of the country.
