The human-induced climate change requires urgent action and any contradictory step in slowing the planet’s warming will grow the severity of the effects of climate change and planet’s warming. This will include extreme weather events, rising sea levels, threatening human and environmental health including the vulnerable populations. Not just this, withdrawing from the accord could also have serious repercussions on America’s trade with other countries and international firms. This may further affect those countries which impose taxes on U.S. exports.If the Unites States is not going to carry out the commitments, then it will create mistrust in future leaders of any political party before entering into agreements with partners. This lack of reliability, over time, will reduce the United States to the sideline of international policy making.
