The Paris Accord brings all nations into a common cause for undertaking ambitious efforts to combat climate change through enhanced support and help offered to the developing countries for doing so. This first-ever universal and legally binding global climate deal has been adopted by 195 countries in December 2015. The global climate effort witnesses this convention as a new course and aims to strengthen the global response to the threat of climate change by keeping a global temperature rise well below 2 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial level.
